Entangled Pussy Requires Manhandling.
Early on Thursday morning Sawang Boriboon Rescue volunteers were called to a village in Soi 14 Naklua after being told of a pussy that had impaled itself on the spike of a metal fence. After arriving at the scene the volunteers soon realized the cat had not been attempting suicide but instead had somehow missed its footing while jumping the fence and skewered itself on a sharp spike. Fortunately, the four-year-old male, known to neighbours as Tiger, had impaled its back leg on the spike; another couple of centimeters and it would have had to be renamed Tiger Lily. The Thai lady who takes care of the cat said Tiger is a bit of a local butterfly. She said Tiger likes to jump the fence and spend his nights carousing with local females of dubious virtue before coming home just after daybreak, usually a bit worse for wear. Luckily many of the Sawang Boriboon volunteers have garnered plenty of experience of dealing with pussies in strife and after a bit of careful manhandling Tiger was extricated from the spike. His only injuries were a nasty bruise and cut to his leg and a severe case of feline embarrassment.

Glad that Jordan won ! But wish it could have been Melinda....

So, while watching, Bett Midler sang and my BF was commenting on how good she looked, and I said, I bet she is around 62 yrs old. He said "no way" maybe she is 50 something....

So, we checked on line, and then we started check other DIVAS. Oh my god, they are getting old fast. I guess I am getting old too.....

Last night a tanker accident took out a major freeway near the Bay Bridge. I am sooooo glad I don't drive through that area. It's going to be months before it's back to normal

I am very sad that a local San Francisco man was found dead. He was lost in the woods in and his family was found, but he had left to walk for help, and was out in the cold for over 10 days. How sad. I guess the thing to remember from this is, if you are lost, stay with your vehicle. The car with the wife and kids was found, and they are all safe. The same thing happened to my Uncle. He was stranded in a snow storm, and thought he should walk for help. He knew the area, and was headed to a near-by farm house, but apparently had a heart attack and/or froze to death on his journey. His van was found a full day before he was. Too sad.

Work is so very busy, but things are moving along, and keeping me from being bored. Next week I will be going to Malvern PA again. Training Monday - Thursday for our new software. This trip, my boss, Karen is going along. It will be interesting to see if we can be together that many hours and still be friends at the end of the week. We are flying on SouthWest Airlines this time, going through Phoenix. That is good, since it's winter. I would rather have my connecting flight in a WARM city.

Christmas is coming so fast. Last weekend we had a party with co-workers. It was really a fun evening. I put my own Christmas tree up over the weekend. Now I am in the Christmas spirit a bit.
