This makes me think of life at work...

Not too many more days now, and I will be jetting off to Thailand for 2 weeks in heaven. I am so in love with Pooh. He makes me feel so good about myself, and about my life. I am constantly working to find a way to retire as soon as possibles so I can be with him, and begin my happy life.

So, Friday was my birthday. I don't much like birthdays, well that's really not true, what I really don't much like is my BF didn't do shit for me. We went out to eat, and he didn't like my choice of resturants, but he has been the one in the past to pick the same place (AppleBees). I ended up leaving to go play poker for my entertainment Friday night (I won !) When I came out of the poker room, it had been raining..... So, our endless summer has come to an end. The winter rains are beginning. It was raining all day Saturday, and so far, Sunday morning is cloudy.... but it should clear up this afternoon. I sure hope so, I want some sunshine.

I have got a lot of work to do..... I want to get the house cleaned up. I have not done any cleaning while he was away. Shame on me.

Well, I did get started last night, got the bathrooms cleaned up..... So much to do, so little time.

So, i am home alone for the next several weeks. i hope time passes fast. my BF has gone to Vietnam to visit his family. I am happy for him, but I am selfish, and wish I had him here with me.

I survived this weekend, and now it's back to work tomorrow. Work is going to be extremely busy this month. I expect to be working at least 10 hrs / day. I think the heavy work load will make missing him be easier.

So, my BF has been getting hives, and I suggested he go see a doctor. He looked through his list of physicians covered by his insurance, called one up, and made an appointment. So, now the funny part. When he arrived, he thought there were a lot of children there, and wondered why. Then when they called him back, and weighed him, and measured him, the doctor saw him standing on the scale and said "Oh my, what a large child". Yes - He made an appointment with a pediatric doctor. How funny. So, my baby went to see a kids doctor. O well, he is just a big child anyway. She did agree to see him, and did tell him she was a general doctor too, but did specialize in children. Of course what he really needed, was to see a dermatologist. O well, we live and learn and LAUGH.

Today was very busy at work. I didn't stop working all day. (Poor me)

Today is also my boyfriends birthday. I gave him his gifts last night. He is the kind of guy that gives a gift to someone that "he" likes, so I have learned from him, and I got him some really sexy underwear. Of course they're for him, but I can enjoy them too!

Well, last night my BF and I went to play poker with friends, and again, my BF had great luck, he won $100. Wow, I am happy..

Today we have just laid around watching TV all day. Kind of boring, but sometimes it is nice to do nothing. I think I would rather spend some time in San Francisco, so maybe next weekend? Not sure. Or I may even go one evening this week. I miss hanging out in the Castro. San Francisco is a beautiful city, and only 1 hour away. I am glad I can go there whenever I want.

I made dinner this evening at home. That is quite rare for us. We almost always eat out, or eat 'heat and server' type meals. But, tonight I actually cooked. It was the first time we used our new kitchen. It turned out really good I think. There were no left-overs, so I guess I did good.
